Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to every free trial, lesson, and course booked with Noor e Quran Academy. Please read them before you book your first class.

Last updated: October 4, 2026

Introduction and Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Noor e Quran Academy website and your enrollment in any of our online Quran courses. By booking a free trial or a lesson, you agree to these terms.

You must be at least 18 to accept these terms. When a student is under 18, a parent or guardian must accept them on the student's behalf and stays responsible for the account.

Our Services

Noor e Quran Academy provides live, one to one online Quran lessons to students across the United States, taught in English, Urdu, or Arabic by qualified, background-checked teachers. We currently offer 10 courses:

  • Learn Quran with Tajweed
  • Qira'at
  • Quran Memorization (Hifz)
  • Quran Translation
  • Tafseer
  • Salah (Prayer)
  • Islamic Studies
  • Quranic Arabic
  • Ijazah

All lessons are live and one to one. We do not offer pre-recorded lessons or shared group classes.

Eligibility and Accounts for Students Under 18

Anyone may register for a free trial or a course. When the student is a child, a parent or guardian must register and manage the account. Women and girls are always taught by a qualified female teacher.

You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and up to date, and for activity under your account.

Free Trial and Booking Lessons

Every new student gets one free trial lesson, with no card required and no obligation to continue. If you decide to continue, you will choose a plan and give payment details before your next lesson is booked.

Lessons are booked around the days and times you prefer, in your own time zone, depending on teacher availability. You can reschedule by contacting us in advance.

Fees and Payment

Course fees depend on how many lessons you book each week. All prices are in U.S. dollars. Fees are paid in advance for the billing period they cover, and monthly plans renew each month until you cancel.

PlanPrice
2 classes per week$60/month
Up to 5 classes per week$120/month
Dedicated Hifz Program$99/month
6-month planSave 7% against the monthly rate
Yearly planSave 10% against the monthly rate

Current prices for every plan are on our website. Payments are processed by a secure third-party payment processor, and we do not store your full card details on our own systems.

Cancellations and Refunds

We do not lock families into a fixed-term contract on our monthly plans, and you can cancel at any time. Our Refund and Cancellation Policy explains exactly how cancellations and refunds work, including for our 6-month and yearly plans.

Code of Conduct for Students and Teachers

We expect every student, parent, and teacher to treat each other with respect, patience, and courtesy. That means:

  • Joining lessons on time and ready to learn.
  • Communicating only through official Academy channels, never through a teacher's or student's personal contact details.
  • No inappropriate, disrespectful, or discriminatory language or behavior during lessons.
  • Respecting the private, one to one nature of every lesson.

Breaking this code may lead to a warning, a change of teacher, or suspension of an account, at the Academy's discretion, especially where a safeguarding concern is involved. See our Safeguarding Policy for more.

Technology and Platform Requirements

Lessons take place live over video call on Zoom, Skype, or Google Meet. You need a steady internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone. Noor e Quran Academy is not responsible for interruptions caused by your internet connection, your device, or the video platform itself.

Intellectual Property

All course materials, lesson plans, and content provided by Noor e Quran Academy belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own learning, but you may not copy, resell, or share them without our written permission.

Limitation of Liability

We take reasonable care in choosing and training our teachers and in delivering our courses. To the fullest extent the law allows, Noor e Quran Academy is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for service problems caused by third-party platforms such as Zoom, Skype, or Google Meet, or by your own internet connection or equipment.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, and nothing in them takes away rights you have under the consumer protection laws that apply to you.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or end an account when these terms are broken, especially in relation to the code of conduct or safeguarding concerns. You can end your own enrollment at any time as described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Governing Law and Changes to These Terms

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where Noor e Quran Academy's U.S. headquarters is located, without regard to conflict of law rules. We will try to resolve any dispute with you informally first, so please contact us before taking any other step.

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Questions? Contact Noor e Quran Academy at contact@noorequranacademy.us.
